Just had a very nice conversation with a person hiring for a data science position in Indianapolis.
CB assured me to go big on asking for a high salary, so I asked for a $20k/year raise over what I currently earn.

Hiring manager choked and then asked if I would be willing to come work for $85k per year. I was really surprised to hear that such a well reputed company such as Rolls-Royce would be paying $100-150k below market value (as assessed by CB).

All joking aside, I am still waiting to hear from anyone with a data science/machine learning position they are hiring for. CB has promised that $200k+/year is standard, so I'm looking in that ball park. Thanks!
