No-caffeine diet soda is flavored water. I care about my health and I've researched this fairly extensively to understand what sort of damage I might be doing, and after sifting through the unsubstantiated, fear-motivated "What If?" nightmare scenarios, I've found that...no-caffeine diet soda is just as good as water.
