What didn't make sense from the Ellen link, the "mother" that had bought the dress sounded like she really, really believed it was blue and black and supposedly was wearing the dress and the dress she was wearing was definitely blue and black, but the pic that Ellen showed was white and gold. That woman, who was wearing a blue and black dress said, looking at a pic of the dress that looks like the one in this thread, "no, it's blue and black".

I can understand that someone looking at a dress that to the majority of people looked to be white and gold, seeing it as being blue and black, but that doesn't make sense if they then say they are wearing a blue and black dress and it looks to me like a blue and black dress, but then a pic of a white and gold dress is shown and they say it is blue and black also. Very evident that it is different than the other.

Oh man, I give up trying to understand this.
