I know WSU is a bad geographic fit, but it accomplishes a few things:
--Gets the Big 12 another school in the Pacific time zone (in addition to UA & ASU)
--Adds a Big 12 footprint in the Seattle TV market
--Leaves UU to wander in the wilderness looking for a home
--Gets another Big 12 flag on ESPN Gameday pre-game every week
And it seems like Wazzu would be desperate to find a port in the storm and wouldn't look down their noses at B12 schools like the folks at UU seem to do.
