That you can’t see what’s happing up north. Unfortunately, they are in a prime position to play for the playoffs. I said back in 20’ that if they get a QB and get/keep their OC that they will play for a Natty. They are in a garbage conference but for some reason the voters still think it’s one of the top ones in the nation and vote them as such.

2019 they almost made it to the playoffs. They played 6 teams that year that finished below .500. Their best team they played was Oregon (12-2) and got killed. But they almost made it to the playoffs based on when they started the season ranked and the crappy conference they play in. Look at last year. They lost 4 but still finished higher in the polls than we did. And will be higher in the polls this year. When we return some of the same key players. There is a Pac12 bias that they are a legit conf and deserve to be ranked as such.

This year and possibly the next (if they can keep their QB and some key players) will be huge for them. In some polls, Utah will be ranked in the top 10. Others I’ve seen top 15. Even if they drop one to Florida and win out they will make it to the playoffs. It’s happened before.

You blue eyes kool-aid drinking fans think that SC is a shoe in for the PAC. Don’t crown them yet. Even Nick Saban had a rough first year at Bama. I’m not saying they won’t be good but as of now, Utah is the team to beat.

I hope SC goes back to being the school to beat. I hope that I’m wrong and Utah loses every game. But they are sitting at the table ready to eat.

Wish we were playing them again this year. I want to beat them over and over like they have to us for the last decade.
