possible they'd continue to maintain them if they knew they'd get the games back
on a regular schedule. Obviously with that many "permanent hosts" they'd only get it every 24 years but the years between would/could be used for other championships, games etc.
I think the better answer is fewer permanent hosts so they're hosting more often than every 24 years though.
