I was a teenager and had gone to the game with a friend. I bought a program and it turns out it was the lucky number program for the Tracy-Collins Bank and Trust jack pot, which was about $125 that night. To win the money, you had to throw a baseball from home plate to a small hole in a board that was standing close to the pitcher's mound.

On one of the several attempts I was given, I managed to get the ball in the hole!

Walking back off the field, I had to walk past the visiting team's dugout and was jokingly given many "offers" to join their team!

I was disappointed to find out that Tracy-Collins was actually just giving away a savings account. So once that account was set up a week or so later, I immediately withdrew enough money to buy the Schwinn 10-speed that I had been wanting for some time!
