free should have been stopped within 1 yard of the line of scrimmage... but the MLB has been missing... or just plain missing the tackle. Turnovers aside though egregious, we would have won those 2 games if Pili were playing. I can't tell you how many times the coverage was just barely missed. Drove me insane (I was a MLB on a state championship football team). The MLB needs to be plugging the holes that open up.

I think this is an EXCELLENT move... I hope he is physical enough to take the pounding that the position takes. Either way if he can just get to the runner and hold onto him... the rest of the defense should clean it up. Gone will be the endless marches down the field running the ball. (Also can't hurt to have him helping with the passes right over the middle.
