people who feels like they have to have their dog with them everywhere they go. My dog never goes to the store with me--and that includes PetSmart. I almost never take my dog on my routine hikes. And I don't take my dog if I go on a vacation--even if it's just an overnighter. I take my dog hunting and I take my dog to the vet (sometimes to be boarded). That's about it.
