BYU gameday traffic pro tip from an insider
I've been retired and living back in Provo for 15 years now. I also drive these streets for a living and I live about 7 minutes from campus...so I feel totally confident sharing a small "suggestion" for you all for defeating the gameday traffic headaches. Simply two words: Freedom Blvd.

Pre and post game...it is almost NEVER that backed up. It will feel like your personal "yellow brick road" once you get off University. Much...much better alternative than University or 9th East as your stadium ingress/egress route. Geneva Road is also a decent alternative. Make your way South or North on Geneva to 800 North. The PROVO 800 North - not the OREM one. Turn and go under the I-15 overpass then proceed up to Freedom Blvd.

I've been dealing with LES gameday traffic and parking off and on since 1977 and this season using these "shortcuts" has been a gamechanger.
