They’ll say that the prohibition on gays was just “policy”. That their exclusion
was never a fundamental doctrine of the church. That every dispensation has different covenants, and that the lord has raised up a generation of Saints free from the bigotry of past generations. That humanity is now ready to love and accept gay people as the lord accepts and loves them.
20 years later they’ll pretend gays were always welcome in the church, and members will applaud the brethren for their progressive position.
