I'm cheap. That's the only time I ever play it because of the early bird deal. I have been playing it for years and only
rarely is the wind so strong that it is an issue.
I played 18 yesterday. The windmills were spinning.
On the front nine you could barely even feel the wind. On the back nine it was more noticeable but not strong enough to bother our play.

I LOVE South Mountain, but people never seem to be that high on it. I think the ambiance on that course & the layout is
