There is a huge chip manufacturer being built in AZ.

Chip manufacturing has a massive money barrier to entry but there are quite a few being built around the world right now.

China also just had 2 big new chip manufacturers turn out to be scams. Just throwing money at it (which is what China did) won't solve this issue. There needs to be some planning involved.

The top wafer company is Japanese (Shin-Etsu). #2 is German and #3 is Taiwanese

Micron makes chips that store memory. TSMC makes chips that perform logic.
