I’ve owned Ford, Toyota, and Nissan.
I’ve generally noticed that you can get more truck for the money buying Nissan on the used market.

The Tundra was a solid truck, but man was it bouncy. And it did suck the gas, but at the time it was an improvement over my older Ford. Just about doubled the horsepower and torque. Had that Ford for 11 years with no issues.

Replaced the Tundra with another Ford. When buying new, my observation has been I can usually find the best deals on Fords. I always try to maximize the truck I’m getting for the money. That was a 2016 Ford and I loved everything about it. The way it drove, the near silence at highway speeds, the power, the space and comfort, etc. Nice truck, I just didn’t get 4wd as I didn’t need it at the time.

Made a life change and needed 4wd. Didn’t want to take a loss buying new, so went the used market. Got a great deal on a Nissan. It’s a good truck, fully capable of everything a half ton should be. Just not as nice as the Ford.
