I'm certain the students sat along the north side down to the floor, but they
also spread them throughout other areas. This was about 35-40 yrs ago.
I do think they can have more impact on the game sitting along the baseline under the baskets like they are now. I think trying to make it a more unified student section ("the ROC") is a great thing!

Many students were really upset about losing the sideline. But this is infinitely better for the atmosphere
