Money.... A bigger slice of the pie. The two weakest links in the conference by far that bring very little to the table are Washington State and Oregon State. Both are just another mouth to feed. They both belong in the MWC if we're looking at this objectively. Neither are AAU members, neither are necessary to control the current conference's footprint, and neither have been particularly relevant in athletics outside of baseball for OSU and some Leach seasons for WSU in the last decade or so. Both of these universities make much more sense to drop.
