Guy showed up every day and did the work, and it was always amongst the best of his peers at a position where the lifespan is about three and a half years.
Sometimes you have to honor the guys who simply do the work very well every time they step on the field if they do it for such a historically long time.
Honestly, I have no connection to the guy whatsoever. But you can't look at that guy without tremendous respect. I'm a Vikings guy, and I would put him in over Adrian Peterson simply because I hold him in higher regard.
