I finally hit my first birdie. Par 5 hole number 4 at Green Springs golf course
in Saint George. Sliced my drive 230 yards, then hit a sweet 210 yard 3 iron shot out of the rough and over the bunkers to land right on the collar. Chipped it to 5 feet and sunk the putt. What a glorious feeling.

I then proceeded to hit 11 on a par 3. Played hopscotch from the bottom of the hill right off the green into the bunker, back over the green and down the hill, back into the bunker. Yipped a few shots in the sand, and then finally onto the green three feet from the hole. I rushed my putt in anger and came up short and settled for a two putt. Very humbling. Still played the other 8 well and finished with a 52 for the day.
