When I was a kid my friend and I found a man unconscious on his front lawn. Turned out he had been trimming the palm
trees like this and fell (not cutting them down. Just trimming the dead fronds that hang and bunch up under the live ones). Perhaps passed out first and fell.
Life flighted away and I have no idea what happened to him.
I haven’t thought about that for probably more than 20 years.
