If players were paid, all that would change. But since the actual resource that
Results in success can't be paid for (supposedly) the money goes to attracting them in different ways that are frivolous, even though the players would just prefer the money.
If players were paid then coaches wouldn't get near the money, facilities would be much less luxurious, and a lot of other excesses would be trimmed because all that money would go towards getting Trevor Lawrence or some other 4-5 star guy
