I guess this is an unpopular opinion, but I have no interest in paying for an aging Favors on the Jazz again.

If the price is right, why not?

Because for the same price I'd rather not get an aging player with a lot of injuries and a bad back.

Can you name some guys who fit that description who would take a MLE?

Given the likely new cap this list will be much better than last season. But here's a sampling:

I would take him over everyone but Harrell.

It depends on what we need next year. I'd love for Favors to come back. But if

For the mid-level, that's a no brainer yes.

I would rather try to find a younger more athletic player for the MLE.

Favors isn't even that old, and when healthy he is plenty athletic.

You're not comparing Favors to Davis or Green. It's other equivalent MLE players. And in body health he is getting old.

I haven't researched next year's market much. Who is younger that is MLE level?

Here's some names of FA's next year that could potentially be options:

It's really hard to tell the market next year at this point.

You'd take Kanter over Favors? Oh come on

Isnt the knock on Parker that he doesnt play defense?

I’m not necessarily saying I would take all those guys over Favors. I was just throwing out names.

Who cares what his actual age is, his body has been breaking down.

He has only had 2 seasons or so where he missed a significant number of games.

He's 28. We're all aging though. 🙂

I'm aware of Favors' age. His vertical and agility have been decreasing by a noticeable amount each year.
