To be fair, I haven't seen CB do this with Knell, but it has happened PLENTY
in the past with other guys. If the guy wasn't a starter or a significant contributor as a freshman, we want his scholarship pulled in favor of a new recruit. You just can't do that and expect long-term success as a program. You need solid role players and bench guys, and need to allow time for guys to develop into key contributors.
