unfortunately I’ve seen this philosophy crash and burn...

All marriages totally and completely trust each other at first to think otherwise is silly ... then life happens.... most distrust and paranoia is ill founded and is more easily addressed and will take care of themselves if such things are shared at the beginning. If not ill founded then they can be addressed early and openly.
