“Fault”? No. I said what I’m worried about and specifically said we have too small of a sample size. And I didn’t say
“Non-check-down throws” I said “the deep ball”.
These are not the same.
He hasn’t shown us a great or consistent deep ball ability yet. I’m not even saying he doesn’t have it. So no, I’m not “faulting” him in any way. Just describing the only two things that I have yet to see made sure for his ability and longevity as a starter.
In guess the alternative hypothesis is that we already have seen and know that he is a complete starting QB.
