To be clear- I agree! The best player starts. The TEAM comes first. I think Kalani sometimes struggles being
the "bad guy" or hurting feelings.
In 2017, Kyle Whittingham- benched a senior QB, who had started the previous season, and was a team captain- to play Huntley.
Saban pulled Hurts out of the NC game, and replaced him with a freshman.
Sometimes, you have to piss people off.
