I have a $4.5K/$9K individual/family deductible plan, but premiums are under
$500 for the entire year plus I get access to an HSA plus $1500 of wellbeing dollars I can earn for the HSA.

That is an awful plan. You must work for a small company.

Huge. Thousands of employees.

Your company doesn’t value its employees. You are paying the brunt of the plan

I guess it depends on perspective because I love my HDHP and willingly choose it

We have Christian Healthcare Ministries. It's great. Would reccommend it.

Just curious, are they kicking Mormons off the Christian healthshare, or

That is Samaritan Ministries. They are not letting LDS people renew. CHM is fine

“Samaritan Ministries” not sure if serious, but that is the most ironic

I use them as well

They don’t cover pre-existing conditions, right?

They do. There is a limit they cover for the first 3 years

Is that the real cost, or does your company pay part of it?

My company contributes about $13K per month for it.

That's a very expensive plan 🙂

Need to start with the tax code and get rid of DSHs.

Not going to happen until more people bankrupt themselves and we pay for them
