Called their kid and other rcollege football players 'kids'. I think it's weird that we can't consider college age people "kids" in some way especially in the context that one of them literally is the child of the person that was using the term.
I think the delineation of adult is OBVIOUSLY in dispute given the fact we charge kids as adults, have different ages when people can start doing different things, and the fact that, in general, there's a difference between a 20 year old and a 50 year old.
It's squishy. And sometimes it HAS to be black and white and other times it doesn't. In court, it has to be "adult or not". When just talking about college students in general without having to think about any sort of legal issues or consequence, I think it's okay to acknowledge they aren't "real" adults and call them "kids"
