Are we debating anything though. I didn't argue your order of which is best, you gave your opinion, I gave mine.
I'm happy you enjoyed the Silmarillion the best, despite it not being a popular opinion. My favorite (at least for the moment) is Children of Hurin, also not a popular opinion, and I look forward to reading the Silmarillion.
