Here is some interesting feedback:
1. Tyson broke his hand mid season last year and was limited in playing time because of this.
2. Regarded by several as USC’s best running back last year and would be their best RB this year.
3. Several people commented that he brings it hard every down and “runs hard as (censored)”
4. Several fans commented that he was underutilized and they were very frustrated because if this.
5. USC abandoned the running game early in games after falling behind instead of grinding it out.
6. “I spent many games over the past couple years wondering why Ty’Son wasn’t getting the ball more.” Some speculate there was some off field issues but exactly why TW was so underutilized has “been a talking point for a couple of years now.”
7. “He was our best running back and BYU is in for a pleasant surprise. You are very lucky to have him.”
8. “He would average 5-6 YPC and run 4 or 5 times and then disappear and nobody would see him for a couple of quarters. He runs angry. He has solid SEC speed/power combo that is on par with the elite rbs in the conference, hence country.”
9. “When given the chance Ty’Son would generally rise to the occasion. You guys got a great back.”
10. With a solid OL, and a softer half of the schedule, Tyson could really pile on some stats. If he shows well in the first four games on national TV, I can definitely see him going in the draft. His raw talent and general ability is on par with all the backs that have come from South Carolina and went on to the NFL.
