If you don't believe it, try looking at MLS-listed houses without being represented by a buyer's agent. Most selling agents won't even show you a house, or they will send another agent from their brokerage with instructions to not show the house unless the prospective buyers sign a buyer's agreement on the spot.

It's a racket and I hope the lawsuit burns the system to the ground.
