Best New England coastal town to visit?

I'll be in Boston for work in April but would like to stay a couple nights in a small coastal town. Any recommendations?

Newport & Little Compton, RI are both great. Further from Boston, but Camden ME

Go to Newport and do the Mansion tours. Very cool.
