I just don't see the "reviewers" as a block. There are literally hundreds of
them and they don't work together (as I'm sure you know) - I think their aggregate score rating is useful.
Unlike the users they do it for a living and have to be able to defend their takes down the road. Generally I find that an RT score of over 90% is a pretty safe guarantee of a really good movie. Then it moves down the sliding scale. I'll enjoy plenty of movies reviewed in the 50-60% range but getting below that, the suck is pretty consistent.

MNS is an amazing director, but very mediocre story-teller. He needs to team up with a great writer.
