Nothing else out there. Turtle Bay is great - especially if you play golf. This is way different than Waikiki. Waikiki is a million hotels, restaurants, and shops jammed tightly together. Turtle Bay is a very nice hotel and golf course with 2 or 3 nice restaurants inside on a much more tranquil beach in the boonies. But, the famous surf beaches like Sunset, Pipelibe, wtc., are right there and the little town with the famous shave ice and surf shops is near by. Kahuku High School is near by if you are there in football season. Big time Poly Pipeline. La'ie Temple, BYU Hawaii, and Polynesian Cultural Center are nearby. An hour away is Kahuku, Kailua, and Lanikai beaches. Way more tranquil than Waikiki. A little further, Sandy Beach, Blow Hole, etc., and Hawaii Kai. There is a mini mini version of sea world over on that stretch. Be careful to either avoid very local beaches like Waimanalo or Kahuku, or make sure you do not act like you think you are "all that" if you do go there - u will get humbled very quickly and possibly painfully.
All of the above are more of a local feel, a bit touristy, but not like Waikiki.
