Wait, so do you or don't you think there's some conspiracy behind all this?  These two sentences contradict each other.

You have conservative channels with millions of subscribers that are having their videos demonetized. They appeal without success. And does YouTube knowingly turn a blind eye to this? Absolutely. If the situation were reversed, would we see different actions from YouTube? Of course.

These are strong conclusions without any evidence.  I stand by my conclusion because it is the simplist conclusion that fits the evidence - billions of videos and millions of fake reports vs. hundreds of YouTube employees, some of which are frantically trying to make ML models that would be needed to eventually handle the mountain of reports.  Get a bunch of conservatives to mass-report left-wing videos and I believe you'd see the same effect.

I'm completely open to being wrong, but I have not seen any evidence of the grand conspiracy you contend here.  You would have to show that YouTube employees are consistently treating videos differently based on politics.  That requires a much higher sample size than one channel being age-restricted - you'd have to show a trend for most major political channels, and proof that YouTube is internally treating them differently (vs. my conclusion that YouTube simply can't have a human deal with all reports). Saying that YouTube is both turning a blind eye and wouldn't turn a blind eye to left-wing videos is a strong conclusion that needs a lot of evidence, but so far you've provided only conjecture.
