Concentration of power almost always leads to the victimization of the powerless
The ongoing democratization of the entertainment industry will help fight this in Hollywood. It’s probably why the Weinstein story broke now. The New York Times is no longer reliant on advertising as its main source of income. And Hollywood is no longer as reliant on a handful of men (including Weinstein) as it once was.
