Leno recap
Ahoy cougareens,
Well, the adventure is over. Twas fun. Slight change of plans however. I told all I would be wearing a white shirt, but when I got the studio, the producer said white doesn't film well, so I had to go to the clothing department and get a new shirt. But i still had green pants, brown shoes, brown hair and spectacles as promised.
I was so nervous. I usually don't get nervous about much, but after the monologue they turned all the lights over and pointed 8 or 9 cameras right at us. Then I got a little wigged. I wasn't sure what he would ask, so it was a little hard to think on my feet while being so nervous.

Met again with Jay after the show and took pictures. Then I had to sign IRS forms for the money they paid me.
I was surprised how fluid the show was. It's filmed live, no retakes. there were 4 or 5 people that were always in jay's line of sight putting up que cards and giving him hand signals all show. when they were talking about getting the Queen another glass of whiskey, a lady jumped up and gave the kill sign (finger across the neck).
The girls sitting next to me wigged when I sat down and they saw I had a microphone on. They kept asking how to get on the show.
They put up Leno logos with our names on it for our green rooms, so I took mine to put on my office door.
Someone wanted proof that I really did live in NM. I spoke with MikeWaters on the phone some time back and he can verify that Brian does indeed (or claimed to be) a resident of the oh so great state of New Mexico, well, great city of Los Alamos, most of NM is a complete dump. We are the glowing city on the hill.

Regards,
Brian
