It's like how in the UK the "American section" in the stores are 90% poptarts.

I don't know anyone who has eats those on an even semi-regular basis, in fact i don't know if I have seen or heard of anyone eating one of those in like 10 years.

Just because it is perhaps unique to America doesn't mean it is even close to highly regarded here.
