It's helpful to hear what people are investing in right now, given the current economic and political conditions. If I see an idea on here that resonates with me, I do my own independent research and determine if it's a worthwhile investment. The whole idea is to bounce ideas off each other. I really don't think anybody is treating this like an appointment with a financial adviser (though we do have a good number of financial advisers on the board...I've had great conversations with several of them)
