can complete a degree on-line through the pathways program. My daughter-in-law is doing it and her mother is doing it.
My DIL would rather have completed her UVU degree so as not to lose any credits in the process, but UVU does not have a solution other than leaving her husband and moving back to Provo to finish it on campus.
These challenges are not unique to BYU. It is a national problem driving up the cost of education.
I hate to suggest government solutions, but the US should offer some standardized degrees delivered by all universities receiving federal funds that accepts any and all transfer credits without limit and regardless of source towards a generic US degree. Lots of people get married or move for other reasons and cannot complete their degree program on campus. There should be a solution without losing credits - especially for someone with a ton of credits to lose.
