You know what? If "wasting" your time to go on that field trip isn't your thing,
don't do it. Yeah, they're looking for volunteers, but they could probably go on without you.
I went on a field trip with my daughter last year, and she loved it. And I enjoyed it more than I would have enjoyed being at work.
