That's a bad training regimen, especially when you haven't been that active
Some of the best long distance runners will tell you to run no more than 3 days per week. Work on cross training, strength training, drills, or other types of cardio on the other days. Doing the same motion over and over for consecutive days is going to lead to injury again and again.
