depends on how each end is aligned
If they are still in proper alignment with each other they can reattach and heal without surgery. Most mcl sprains, even grade 3 are not surgically repaired anymore. Unless of course the end are not aligned or there is other ligament involvement

If he can be the fourth guy, then we won't be a disaster out there

Un-whew. Could a partial tear be the source of confusion?

Maybe. He did say that it won't need surgery and should be 100% this summer.

If that's true then it's a partial tear at worst.

Or you don't know anything about knee injuries. MCL sprains almost never require

I agree that sprains don't need surgery. Never heard of one needing surgery.

Whats the difference between a sprain and a tear?

Technically wrubell is still right.

I don't think it's a complete tear though. Would need surgery to reattach it.

Is depth really an issue? Just move more DEs or tackles or WRs...e.g, Bronco fix

MCL's are weird. THey can tear - completly - and then heal on their own.
