incapable of fulfilling their assignments in the secondary. I was hopeful last Spring that BYU finally had "good" talent in the secondary and depth. That all vanished during the course of the year and the "buy in" aspect may have contributed to the overall performance. I look at the two deep, excluding players coming in this Fall and I have a hard time believing "buy in" is going to be enough. I see a lot of unproven and untested players. If there is a chance for Howell to redeem himself in my eyes, it is to get this group to play together and provide some semblance of a secondary.
