After the reaction to the Chris Hill Statement, Whittihgham decided there was nothing to be gained by releasing his own statement. No matter what he says it will be picked apart and people who are trying to stir the controversy will not believe it anyway.

Whittihgnam will announce his hires when they are made (probably together, but maybe one at a time) and that will be meant to end the whole conversation.

Whittihgnam and Hill do not see eye to eye and have their share of disagreements, but that is not new this season and was overblown by 1280 the zone. Whittihgnam is not the first person who has been mad at their boss but still been able to go to work everyday and do their job.
