I'm not convinced it's so much a straight-line, top-end speed advantage, but
I agree Kurtz's highlights suggest a LOAD of a dude in the open field. Better than anyone we are fielding right now. I agree his acceleration is crazy for a guy his height. As are his agility & reflexes when that ball is in the air. He's really relentless at zeroing in on the ball.

I just hope that Hill can learn to loft that ball up & give a guy like Kurtz a chance to abuse a corner on an island. Matthews, Leslie & Blackmon might not bring quite the one-on-one dominance that Kurtz brings to the table, but all three are plenty good enough for Hill to trust with a high-trajectory deep ball every now & again.

I've been outspoken about being a fan Juergens, but he should NOT be the one credited with our deep completions so far. I really don't see our current group of receivers (minus, Kurtz, of course) being the main problem here.
