I guess it depends as well on your definition of wealthy. You can make a
boatload of money very ethically. Come up with a new idea. Write or perform a hit song. Write an app that a couple million people buy.

You can also be "wealthy" on a lower income. Live frugally and within your means. Put money away in safe harbors collecting interest, etc. You can live like a millionaire for a lot less if your debt is low or non-existent.

I personally do not think that income level or wealth has anything to do with ethics. In other words, I think you find equally ethical and unethical people at all points along the spectrum.

I think the bigger correlation would be discipline and drive. Can you give up movies, video games, eating out, a house for years while trying to get an education or build a business that will allow you to obtain wealth? Most people can't or won't.

My two cents, anyway.
