I can't refute individual bowl payouts as the site I'm referencing doesn't
identify any of that. And the way it leaves it out could lead to confusion one way or the other. But in reading it this is speaking solely about the TV revenue splits under the new format.

I can say with certainty that the way this is written the $4M is for a teams participation in a NY6 and the $6M is for a semi-final game which is different than what you listed. It explicitly mentions that no more money is aligned to the championship game....just the NY6 and semi-finals....

But my further question to you would be - where else does the bowl get money to make a payout as large as you listed in addition to what is already being split other than from the TV revenues? Corporate sponsors? - I would think those get wrapped into what the TV broadcasters recoup in advertising dollars to help them pay the TV revenues.

I don't have an answer there and like I said can't refute those additional payouts you listed but I also have seen a cited source that differentiates between the different payouts. Then again my source is Wiki which of course may not be 100% correct....
