and said something to the effect of, "Bill Simmons said that you quit on the team. What do you have to say to that?"

"I would call him an idiot, but I'm too classy for that. He doesn't know the whole story."

Then they cut back to the draft and Simmons was visibly fired up. Simmons was totally right in what he said. He said that he should have just owned it instead of changing his story and not being upfront about the whole thing.
