I know our bigs look really bad, and I know they're not all that, but Austin Ainge/Balderson/Nashif/whoever the heck is playing point guard is killing us. I know Ainge is our second leading scorer, and I know he's appears to be playing better than many expected, but he is terrible.

He doesn't take care of the ball AT ALL, he dribbles to the sideline to set up the offense, and he pulls up for 30 foot shots. A good reason Hall, Jensen, and Meads haven't played better is we don't have a point guard who goes to the right spot, delivers the ball in the right area, and moves the ball around. Our offense is painful to watch and it's because we don't have a floor general.

I guarantee if we had Luis Lemes or Mark Jackson at the point, Mike Hall would look good again, and our bigs would not be taking the abuse they get - we would likely be 12-6 instead of 6-12 with a good point guard.

I know this sounds overly simplistic, but anyone who's played any organized ball can tell a huge difference one good point guard can make - yes this includes those of you on the Beaver 3rd ward men's team.

Hopefully Ainge will improve and get good coaching. Hopefully.
