NEVER going to happen
It's not who BYU could schedule or not schedule as an independent. It's the TV contract. BYU would have NO TV contract. Plus, BYU would have NO bowl tie-in and would NEVER go to another bowl game.
Therefore, they would have no money and no big school would ever play in Provo. So it's completely out of the question. Please don't bring it up again.
